waakhrajati alardu athqalaha |

And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), |

And the earth discharges its burdens |

And the earth brings forth her burdens, |

And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, |

when the earth shakes off her burdens, |

waqala alinsanu ma laha |

And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- |

And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - |

And man says: What has befallen her? |

And man saith: what aileth her? |

when man asks, ‘What is happening to her?’; |

Transliteration |
yawmaithin tuhaddithu akhbaraha |

On that Day will she declare her tidings: |

That Day, it will report its news |

On that day she shall tell her news, |
Daryabadi |
On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. |

on that Day it will narrate its account, |

Transliteration |
bianna rabbaka awha laha |

For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. |
Saheeh International |
Because your Lord has commanded it. |

Because your Lord had inspired her. |
Daryabadi |
Because thy Lord will inspire her. |

for your Lord has so directed it. |

yawmaithin yasduru alnnasu ashtatan liyuraw aAAmalahum |

On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). |
Saheeh International |
That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. |
Shakir |
On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. |
Daryabadi |
On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. |

On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: |

faman yaAAmal mithqala tharratin khayran yarahu |

Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! |
Saheeh International |
So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, |

So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it |

Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it |
Wahiduddin Khan |
whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; |

waman yaAAmal mithqala tharratin sharran yarahu |

And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. |

And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. |

And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. |

And whosoever hath worked ill Of an atom's weight shall behold it. |
