Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he! |

May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. |

Perdition overtake both hands of Abu Lahab, and he will perish. |

Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! |

May the hands of Abu Lahab perish, may he be ruined. |

No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains! |

His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. |

His substance availed him not, nor that which he earned. |

Neither his wealth nor his gains will avail him. |

And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood. |

And his wife, the bearer of fuel, |

And his wife also: the firewood carrier; |

and also his wife who carries the fuel, |

Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber. |

Upon her neck a halter of strongly twisted rope. |

On her neck shall be a cord of twisted fibre. |
