    lieelafi qurayshin

    For the covenants (of security and safeguard enjoyed) by the Quraish,

    Saheeh International

    For the accustomed security of the Quraysh -

    Shakir

    For the protection of the Qureaish--

    Daryabadi

    For the keeping of the Quraish

    Wahiduddin Khan

    For the security of the Quraysh:

    • ﭔ ﭕ ﭖ ﭗﭘ

    Transliteration

    eelafihim rihlata alshshitai waalssayfi

    Yusuf Ali

    Their covenants (covering) journeys by winter and summer,-

    Saheeh International

    Their accustomed security [in] the caravan of winter and summer -

    Shakir

    Their protection during their trading caravans in the winter and the summer--

    Daryabadi

    For their keeping to the journey in the winter and the summer-

    Wahiduddin Khan

    their security in their winter and summer journeys.

    Transliteration

    falyaAAbudoo rabba hatha albayti

    Yusuf Ali

    Let them adore the Lord of this House,

    Saheeh International

    Let them worship the Lord of this House,

    Shakir

    So let them serve the Lord of this House

    Daryabadi

    Let them worship the Lord of this House,

    Wahiduddin Khan

    So let them worship the Lord of this House,

    Transliteration

    allathee atAAamahum min jooAAin waamanahum min khawfin

    Yusuf Ali

    Who provides them with food against hunger, and with security against fear (of danger).

    Saheeh International

    Who has fed them, [saving them] from hunger and made them safe, [saving them] from fear.

    Shakir

    Who feeds them against hunger and gives them security against fear.

    Daryabadi

    Who hath fed them against hunger; and hath rendered them secure from fear.

    Wahiduddin Khan

    who provided them with food lest they go hungry and saved them from fear.
